Our Story

Amanda & Wayne

Amanda’s Touch became my life in 1998. But before then, my dad, Wayne owned multiple movie theaters in town. I worked for him and always loved selling the popcorn! On multiple occasions he told me “when you work the register, you always have the largest sales on concessions, can you teach the other employees to do that, and maybe you should think about opening a retail store or going into sales”  I guess that's where you could say I first got my love for people and my customer service skills from. At that time the Amanda’s Touch brand became a mere dream and vision. As a young college student at the time, with the encouragement and help of my dad, Amanda’s Touch was born in 1998 on North Coalter Street in Staunton, Virginia.

Wayne and I have such different personalities. I have always been the cautious one and Wayne is the risk taker and go-getter, but together we make a pretty awesome team.

With Wayne’s constant encouragement and help, We have created what you see today when you visit our boutique. Years of hard work, dedication, struggles, tears, laughter, and an amazing staff have gone into keeping the Amanda’s Touch brand alive and growing, and here we are 22 years later and we are not stopping anytime soon! Mr. Wayne is a daily visitor in the boutique and all the ladies love him. My passion has always been to help people on the most important day of their life feel beautiful and for them to know just how special they really are. This is a day that you will remember forever and letting Amanda’s Touch and now Bridal Impressions be a part of your love story is something that I cherish from each and every one of my customers. It’s more than just a business, it's a family and I cannot wait to have you be a part of this with me.

The experience you have in my boutique is so important to me, that is why I have created an intimate space for you and your family to share for this special moment in your life and an expert stylist to guide you along the way!
