FAQ

Do I need to have an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

Yes, we highly recommend that you reserve a bridal appointment with us. This ensures that you have a fitting room available and a trained bridal stylist to assist you. However, walk ins are welcome as long as we have a fitting room and stylist available to accommodate you. To make an appointment, please visit our Appointment page or call us at: 540-221-4748

How long will my appointment last?

Each bridal appointment is 90 minutes long. This allows you enough time to browse through our wedding dresses with your stylist, try on six to eight gowns, narrow down your selection and make an educated decision on which dress is “the one.” We never want you to feel rushed, which is why we’ve allocated a full hour and a half for your appointment.

What is the price range of the dresses at your store?

Our wedding dresses range from just under $1,000 to approximately $3,000, with the average being 1,200-1,800. We also offer the lowest price guarantee on our designer gowns, so you will be confident you are receiving the best price!

Who should I bring with me to my appointment?

We know that shopping for a wedding gown is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we want your experience at Amandas Touch to be just that! So, we feel that you should not be limited to who you can bring with you. We recommend bringing the people’s opinions that you value the most to your appointment to help you make your decision on saying yes to the perfect dress!

Can I buy a wedding dress off the rack?

Absolutely! In fact, most of our brides do!

What size wedding dress samples do you have in store?

Beauty comes in every shape and size! That’s why we have sizes 8-36 in stock for you to try on!

How long do wedding dresses take to come in after they are ordered?

Times can vary depending on the wedding gown that you choose. It can take up to 6 months for your gown to arrive if it is special ordered. However, our bridal stylists are trained to work with any timeline!

Are alterations included in the cost of the dress?

Alterations are an additional charge. Nearly all wedding dresses require alterations to achieve the perfect fit. Some brides even use alterations to customize sleeves, straps, necklines and other details. We have a wonderful seamstress that is exclusive to our boutique that we can recommend. Let’s just say that sewing is her superpower!
